Michael Jäger and Peter Germann take over general management
After 30 years, Andreas Dorner, Managing Director of Dorner Electronic GmbH with headquarters in Egg, has retired from operative business. Peter Germann and Michael Jäger, two very experienced Dorner employees, have taken over the controlling responsibilities of the innovative Bregenzerwald enterprise in January 2018.
Although no longer active in business operations, Andreas Dorner remains the owner of the enterprise. “The future leadership not only ensures stability and continuity but also offers openness for change and development,” says Dorner in regards to the new management duo.
Already in 2016, Andreas Dorner established Dorner Holding located in Egg, Vorarlberg in order to support the two companies Dorner Electronic GmbH (Egg) and Dorner ASP (Heerbrugg) in his role as their owner-proprietor. Additionally, Dorner Holding provides for the focused digital transformation of Dorner enterprises – this includes the extension of the value-added chain across the production and distribution of concrete.
Experience provides for continuity
Peter Germann has been employed with Dorner Electronic since 2011. Through to present, he has been responsible for the areas of distribution, marketing and development. Michael Jäger has been employed with the company since 2004. He has the overall responsibility for the areas of solutions, purchasing, service, controlling and human resources. Jäger has managed the business operations, along with colleague Andreas Dorner, over the past three years.
Together towards success
Jäger and Germann are on the same page: the course of development for more than 90 employees for the next years is clear. “Together we head towards success. Excellent employees with an extensive network and market expertise, committed and engaged in maintaining existing assets and developing new ones, form the basis for a successful business enterprise.”
