3D concrete printing live at com:bau

3D Printing - a brand new batching system to be used for custom-made concrete pieces, decorative elements or singular houses.

No complicated and onerous formworks or moulds are required. As an additional advantage, radii, patterns and cavities can be easily included in the design when the printing takes place.

But the major gain is that cross-sections are no longer needed. The 3D printer is fully capable of printing pattern sections, that are almost as stable as a solid segment. The resulting pieces only  require a fraction of the concrete needed when using one traditional approach. Therefore,  the reduction in raw materials consumption and in management of disposable parts has a significantly positive impact on the environment of our communities.
